This site is still under construction, but I wanted to start this blog before I talked myself out of it! I am a new college graduate learning how to eat, cook, and live on my own. This is a blog of how I am changing the way I eat and think about food. I am making a committment to eat more healthier, raw, whole foods instead of the processed ones I’m used to. During my time in college, my eating habits became less than stellar, living in a sorority house with a mandatory meal plan and late night runs to fast food restaurants did nothing for my diet. Exercise fell to the wayside because what little free time I did have, the last thing I wanted to do was walk across campus to the gym. During the summer of my last year, I finally got a handle on things and started incorporating exercise and healthier eating into my lifestyle. I have my ups and downs, but I feel like I’m finally in the place where I can focus on my eating and exercise. I have recently started focusing on not just watching what I eat, but making sure I am eating more raw and protein-filled foods. This blog is more of a way for me to monitor what I eat and the workouts I complete, but I am hoping some of what I learn can help otheres too!
